Pictory review 2026: pricing, trial and video minutes
Pictory turns text, links, scripts, slides, images, audio and existing video into edited videos, with captions, stock clips, AI voices and avatars. This introduction uses Pictory's pricing page and pricing FAQ, checked on 14 October 2026. Mike has not built a video in Pictory.

Quick answer
Monthly prices on that page are $29 for Starter, $59 for Professional and $199 for Team. Billed annually, the same plans are shown at $25, $35 and $119 a month. Enterprise is custom. Video minutes are used when you export, not when you preview.

What Pictory says it does
Pictory's site lists text to video, URL to video, audio to video, avatars, an AI editor, PowerPoint to video and image to video, plus captions, highlights, brand kits and stock from Getty Images and Storyblocks. Aspect ratios include horizontal, vertical and square. Paid plan cards include no watermark. You can upload your own images and clips.
The FAQ says article-to-video accepts HTML blogs or news articles, and does not accept PDF, Word or Google Docs. It also says text-to-video currently supports English. Voice support is listed separately: ElevenLabs voices in 29 languages, and unlimited standard voices in seven languages on Professional and Team. Pictory says explicit content is against its terms, and that the clips, music and voiceovers it supplies are already licensed.

Starter is one user: 5 GB, one brand kit, 60 minutes a month of ElevenLabs voices in 29 languages, 5 million stock videos, and 100 AI credits a month. The annual Starter card lists 720 voice minutes and 1,200 AI credits for the year. Professional adds custom avatars, voice cloning and video summaries, with 20 GB, five brand kits, 120 ElevenLabs minutes and 500 AI credits a month. Team is for 3 or more users, with a shared minute pool, 100 GB and 10 brand kits. Enterprise is custom, from 10 users, and adds single sign-on. Annual plans include a consultation Pictory describes as a $210 value.
The 14-day trial
The pricing FAQ says Pictory offers a 14-day trial so you can check the subscription before you pay. The same page says the free trial lets you create 3 video projects. A video project can be exported more than once and still counts as one project, as long as you are revising that project.
Pictory's help centre, in an article dated 26 June 2025, says the trial includes premium features and that downloads stop when it ends unless you subscribe. The pricing page confirms the 14-day length and the 3-project cap. Read the signup screen, because that help article is older than this check.
How minutes, refunds and cancellation work
Minutes count when you export. Previewing and editing inside the account do not use them. Pictory's Professional example says 600 minutes could be 30 videos of 20 minutes, or any mix that fits. Monthly allowances refresh each month. Annual plans put the year's minutes in at the start. Unused minutes do not roll over, and a monthly quota resets on the first of the month. Team minutes are shared. Extra minutes can be bought in the app.
Pictory says paid subscriptions are not refunded. Cancel and you are not charged again at renewal. Access lasts until the end of the period you have paid for. Download first: Pictory says projects are deleted when the account is cancelled. Prices are in US dollars, by card or PayPal.
What to weigh
Starter's drop from $29 to $25 is smaller than the drop on Professional and Team. Three trial projects is a short test, so use them on a real script.
